PERSONAL

Mindset Coach

Between 2020 and 2022, Leigh worked as a personal mindset coach for individual clients and groups. As part of 'Mindset with Leigh', she taught classes, wrote articles, and created educational videos to support people pursuing goals in health, business, and overall well-being. Many of these resources are still available.

Since returning to the sport industry, Leigh only works with a very limited number of mindset clients at certain times of the year.

​

What do people get from mindset coaching? Reassurance, knowledge, confidence, skills, resilience, direction, progress, achievement... and a person in their corner who listens, understands, and believes in them. Leigh helps people find clarity and remove the mental barriers preventing them from sustainable change. She arms people with knowledge, skills and tools to unlock the health, happiness and success that they seek.

FYI - About Mindset and Mindset Coaching

Our mindset is our set of attitudes, perceptions and beliefs. It is our way of thinking. It is our collection of expectations for ourselves, others, and the environments that we live in. Our mindset is hugely impacted by our influences and our experiences. Our mindset it can serve us well, or hold us back.

Mindset coaching helps us to understand our influences, reshape our attitudes and expectations, and reframe our thinking for more success in the areas that are important to us. Mindset coaching can help us to remove or overcome mental barriers that hold us back, such as limiting beliefs or negative thoughts, and enable us to reconstruct what we believe we are capable of to have more happiness and success.

Mindset coaches are not therapists or medical professionals, and do not treat illness or diagnose disorders. Mindset coaches proactively support the mental health and personal performance of their clients via teaching mindset and well-being topics, developing mental skills and emotional intelligence, fostering healthy habits and attitudes, and improving self-awareness, self-confidence and self-care.

When we help people see themselves with more clarity, and uncover their unique skills, strengths and knowledge, they are better armed to move forward with optimism no matter what life throws their way.

 

When we empower people to lead themselves more effectively and be themselves more authentically, they also lead the people and projects they care about with more resilience, empathy, and success.
